technomance

I’ve got my Nokia set to make that sound
When there’s something else to do
And there’s another little song it plays
Whenever I get a call from you

And it vibrates every single time
tries to shake me into action
And like a lightning flash it blinks at me
If I’m too slow in my reaction

I’ve got multimedia, s m s
and email all converging
With my bucket of photos, wikipedia,
a Spanish podcast, cos I’m learning

But all this technology
isn’t giving me a clue
There are no widgets
that can bring me close to you
and a terabyte of reasons
is just like one excuse, it’s true
not so much a science
as an art
here in my heart
I’m loving you.

I’ve got my GPS to talk to me
and she’s taking me straight to you
telling me at every single turn
that there’s a change that’s coming soon

I’ve got Hulu and my DVR
to catch everything I miss
they’re not seeing what’s in my heart
and they can’t replay that one kiss

and all this technology
isn’t giving me a clue
There are no widgets
that can bring me close to you
and a terabyte of reasons
is just like one excuse, it’s true
not so much a science
as an art
here in my heart
I’m loving you.

And all this technology
isn’t giving me a clue
not so much a science
as an art
here in my heart
I’m loving you.
I’m loving you.
